The Nicest Complement

Mommy said she got one of the nicest complements she's ever recieved today. Amy Cudd told her she was a very good mommy. She said "you can just tell, Dayona cares about others, and she's learning so fast. Then Shirley told her that I was a little song bird and that I picked it up all so fast! It made mommy feel good that someone actually noticed how well behaved I am for a two year old. Of course I have an onery streak, but I am polite and am learning new things everyday!

My New Skills!

As of January 12, 2009 I have some new skills. I thought I would blog about some things I am currently doing. I can sing my abc's, and I can count. I go 1,2,3,7,8,9,10, but I can count! I walk up and down stairs which is scary for mommy! I love going to preschool infact I just go in and play mommy and nanny have to come inside to tell me bye bye. I love doing puzzles, playing kitchen, and watching cartoons, or dot com as I tell mommy. I can sing along with almost all the commercials and shows on sprout, I like sproutonline dot com. My favorite cartoons are Caillou, Lazytown, Oswald, Little Bill, Barney, and when Elmo comes on Sesame Street. I love to play, sing, and run around!

Happy Day, I'm 2!

Yesterday I turned 2. I had 2 parties. One was at my school, and the other was at home. At my school party, I served Barney cupcakes. I blew out the candle on my cupcake and then gave it to the little boy sitting beside me.

At my home party, I just ask the grandparents that lived close by if they wanted to come by before church. I had a "princess" theme. We opened presents, watched a video, and had cake and punch. I danced on the table and sang for my guests. I loved it when everyone sang the "happy day" song. I want to thank everyone for coming and for the gifts. It was alot of fun spending time with people I love! I even wore a tutu to my party. I however couldn't decide if it looked best pulled way up to my chest, or if I just took it off completely!

The next pictures are my two-year old pictures. I am getting to be a big girl! The last picture was taken the morning after my birthday. I guess I didn't want my happy day to end so I got out my play birthday cake and put it on the table while I sang happy day to Day!

Picnic at Redrock

It was so nice yesterday that I told mommy and daddy we better go outside! We packed our lunch and went to Redrock to eat. They had a new swingset set up, so it was so much fun. I didn't want to leave! I am so glad we went because there aren't many days like this!

Flashback Friday

This New Years Eve pic was taken in 2004. It is actually from our wedding. Our anniversary is on New Years Eve. We were married in Eureka Springs in a little chappel, in a sunset ceremony overlooking the lake. It was beautiful weather for December. We even took some pictures outside! Sorry if I've posted some the pictures before.
