State Fair Again!!!

This time we went with Daddy.  Here are the pics.  Dayona loves the rides, the sea lion show, and going in buildings.

I went to get a little boy from Day's class, and when I went to get him for speech, he was sitting by Dayona.  She had a book and was reading it to him, and he was paying perfect attention.  Love my girl!

Busy Busy

Well Jason's been working 7 12 hour days, but we've kept very very busy.  Last weekend we went to Geary Fair.  This weekend we went to the State fair and a birthday party at the zoo.  Dayona LOVES the fair!!    favorite part was the clown.  She thought he was hilarious!  She also loved being a "farmer".  She also rode almost all the rides in the kiddie land part.  At Geary fair, I was shocked that she rode these swings that went pretty fast.  At the zoo her favorite was the playground.  Right now she loves to play school, which is a step for me from playing house (she no longer gets groceries at of my refrigerator)  of course she is the teacher!  When I asked her what she wanted to be the other day she said a doctor, a ballerina, and a teacher.

Hinton Fair 2011

Here are some recent pics.  The theme of the week is "Barbie House".  Nana Smallwood found Dayona a barbie house and we could hardly tear her away from it for two straight days. She even told me her stomach hurt in the morning before school.  I told her to keep laying down and rest, and when I peeked in later, she was playing with her house.  At the fair she loved riding "rainbow".  She also helped Nana at a garage sale.  She kept asking me for a dollar, and buying toys which she would take back in the house.  Then she would come out and I give her the same dollar and she would buy more toys. Yesterday we went shopping, she picked out another purse, then when we went to Ulta she had to have things to put in her purse.  She picked out lipgloss, lotion, and eyeliner, which she loves to put on.  She is gonna love makeup and be a shopper, don't know where she gets that?!  She is getting so tall!  In other news Jason has still been working 7 12 hour days, and finally has a day off today- labor day.  Its starting to get colder outside, and it actually rained a little yesterday.  Dayona is learning alot at school, last night she sang a little song and told me where the front cover, back cover, spine, and title page were on her book.  She can write her name independently well, write her numbers from 1-10 with a little guidance, She recognizes all the uppercase letters except L and N, she loves to "read".  We often read three books every night.  Here are some pictures from this week.
