We had a great Memorial Day. We spent it with our friends Trent and Leslie and Kent and Tamra just relaxing on the lake. Tamra and I have been friends since high school. It was fun and relaxing. Day played with all the kids, and made three new friends Brayden, Tyler, and Jade. She kept calling Jade her sister. Day also made friends with neighboring campers. If she saw a dog she would go over and ask if she could pet it. Hayley was also great for Day to play with. Hope to do this more this Summer. Heres a pic of the girls playing in the sand.

Shrek 4
I have to say I loved Shrek 4. It makes you appreciate what you have, and boy it made us appreciate what we have in more ways than one! It was actually Day's second movie. She already saw the chipmunks about a year ago, but this was the first one where we watched the whole movie. She kept saying, "what's gonna happen next, where's Fiona, thats not Fiona, oh and Whats gonna happen next. The girl watches movies like her momma does, hehe! Of course after the show we stayed and played games in the game room. That girl loves games like her daddy!
The Zoo
This was our first trip to the new children's zoo and we all had a wonderful time. I think our favorite part was actually the Oklahoma exhibit. I am so glad Jason talked me into going through it. Day's favorite part was either seeing all of other kids, or taking pictures with every statue in the park. Everytime we passed one, she would ask me to take her picture. She also kissed every statue and if the animal was close enough she would try to kiss them too, just like she did to a frog we caught and she held at home.

Eureka Springs Cabin
I love Eueka Springs and can't wait to go back. We shopped, took pictures at Judge Roy Beans, visited the turpentine refuge, quigleys castle, Eureka Underground, pivot rock, and thorncrown chapel. We stayed in our old cabins. Well anyway here are alot of pics! I've decided to break up this post so here is our cabin part.
I got a little bubble happy! The tub was running over so I had to put some in the sink. These pictures were taken in "our" cabin #7 at Lakeshore cabins.
Watching the deer outside our cabin.
Eureka Springs site-seeing
It was the perfect temperature when we went. It rained alittle, but by each afternoon, it had stopped and the weather was nice. These are some places we visited.
These were taken at Quigley Castle, the grandaughter to old man quigley apparently gave us the tour. It had some pretty plants and flowers, and other "unique" stuff as well.
This is pivot rock. My man is strong!
Vada snoozing!
This is Thunder.
Eureka then and now
Jason kept snapping pictures, and I didn't know he was going to do that so he took one of just himself. I don't know why but I think that is funny!
This is us standing in front of the same door in May 2010. Yes it is the same door. We just have a better camera now!
This picture was taken at Judge Roy Beans in 2004...
and this one in 2010!
Again, this one is from December of 2004...
and May of 2010!
I love that we have done this each time we've went. I hope we do it everytime. I can't wait to play dress-up again, and I'm so lucky to be able to have a husband who is my friend, and I have so much fun with!

She's a shopper
My child loves to shop, in fact when we go to the store, she always wants to go to another store when we leave. "Let's go to another store mommy." She already looks through the cloths rack in her size just like I do mine. My mom AKA nana and I took her shopping before our vacation. This is her trying on some sunglasses in Rue 21.

Mother's Day 2010
For mother's day my hubby sent me a beautiful lily bouquet, and Day made me a card in Sunday School. After church we went out to Dennis and Bev's for steaks, and the boys cleaned up, how nice! Later when I looked at Day's card I noticed she tried to trace the letters. We got Bev a bouquet too, and my mom and gift certificate from Tracy's. Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful mothers in our life!
Kenna was Dayona's student, and she doesn't mind putting him in time out if he doesn't mind!

What are little girls made of?
Sugar, spice, and everything nice, and snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails, well just the snake part this time. I opened the door to go to school, and was surprised by a friendly visitor at the door. I shooed him along, and did not see him later. But later on in the week Jason cleaned out the firewood and discovered himn again. We caught him in Dayona's clear backpack and set him free in near the walking trail. We thought he would do better near water. I looked him up and I'm pretty sure he is a praire king snake. When Day saw her she wanted to touch her. She knows that we let the snake go to be with her mommy!
She just looked too big in these pictures I took.

Oh Thank you Papa, Oh thank you Daddy!
Papa and Daddy built Day a custom playhouse complete with steps so that Kenny can go up. The best thing about this was seeing how appreciative Dayona was. She would go up to her papa and daddy and say "Oh thank you for my playhouse." She's also really learning how to swing on the big swing. Daddy went and picked her up sand to put in the bottom. She is a lucky girl to have such a good daddy and fabulous talented carpenter Papa!
