Flashback Friday- Sort of

I named this post a sort of flashback because it is only from a year ago! I couldn't find any other Thanksgiving pics. I also included some from this year at Day's "school" to show how much Day has grown from last year to this year. Last year my family met at a restaurant here in town. It was nice that no one had to cook for Thanksgiving! This is my moms side of the family. I can't wait to see them all again this year. We are not having Thanksgiving with them until tomorrow. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Melinda, I can't wait until the next assignment! This is fun.

Tag, Daddy's it!

This post is all about my daddy.

My Daddy when he was little. I've heard he was a little ornery. There are lots of stories of how he used to climb, how independent he was, and how he was a free-spirited child. Mommy thinks I act like my daddy, something daddy secretly loves!

Daddy and mommy met on a blind date, and they got married 18 months later! Even though it was a blind date, they later realized that their grandpas served in the war together, and daddy had even played dominoes with mommy's grandpa.

Daddy is very much a country boy! He loves the small town life. He enjoys working outside, especially on a tractor. His favorite hobby is hunting. Mommy is in denial over this (she is an animal lover). The other thing he loves to do in his free time is play dominoes. On Monday nights he likes to go down to a convenience store about 10 miles from where we live and play dominoes with all the other men. Its kind of funny . Daddy is about 30-50 years younger than all the other players! He also loves OU football!

My daddy also loves his job. He operates a crane. This is from a job where he had to hoist guys up in a man basket so they could change out Christmas lights! Although none of us are happy about daddy's hours, we are very proud that he has a job that he loves. Its pretty cool!

Most importantly, my daddy loves me! Family is very important to him. He takes good care of our family, makes sure we go to church, and encourages mommy to follow her dreams. Thanks, Daddy!

Trick or Treat Part 2

Okay, so I know its a little late for this, but mommy took some pics with a disposable camera and didn't get the pics back until today. So here are the rest of my pics.

Trick or treat part 1

Thursday we had a Halloween party at school. We painted pumpkins, and did all sorts of fun stuff! I also went trick or treating on Saturday night. My cousin Tristan and I have always got our picture taken together on Halloween (well 2 times since this is only my second Halloween). I trick or treated my Great Grandma Coats and my Step Great Grandma Dixie. I also trick or treated my Nana Smallwood, and my Nana Byrd (along with my daddy's side of the family my Great Mema and Pepa Mullins and Great Grandma Byrd. While we were driving around town we noticed a very scary house. It was papa's friend Delton's house. We had to stop and take some pictures. There are alot of pics so here is the first set. Oh, and I hope you all like my kitty costume- MEEOW!
