This is Dayona'a mommy reporting on some things she has been saying recently. She had been watching kung fu panda and came into her nana and papa Smallwoods bedroom and said, "lets kick some whiny butt!" She also told Jason and me that later that night. She told me she spanked daddy and that it was an accident. Nana Smallwood got her a new backpack, which she took to Felicias, when they got home Nana discovered Day had filled it with blocks. When she asked her where the blocks came from Day said, "I think they might be Felicia's." The other day she told me she was "going to work." When I ask her why she said, "for the money". When I ask her where she said "for papa". Then I ask her what she was going to do. She put her boots on and said, "go to the barn, with sheep, and pigs, and cows." She told me it was for "Papa Byrd." Jason and I are treated night to Day Day's Music Show. She usually sings then bows and says thank you thank you. She will also tell us if we forget to clap. Right now, we just got back from a b-day party, and Day is singing happy birthday to barney asking me where his presents and cupcake are. This girl keeps us on our toes. You never know what she might say. Yes Day, Barney is special!

Old MacDonald Had a Farm
Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the pumpkin patch. I liked the animals as always, but I have a new favorite this year. I really liked a little red "house". I kept calling it my house. Mommy and Daddy had to knock on the door, so I could let them in. I told them I didn't have any toys in my house. I fed the cow, goats, donkey, and miniature horse. I also picked out my own pumpkin, which I kept trying to throw like a ball. On the way there and back I kept singing Old MacDonald had a Farm. I love to sing. It was so much fun. I didn't want to leave "my house!"

Trip to the ER
Well I went to the ER last Tuesday night. Mommy and Daddy took me around 10:00 pm, and we didn't leave until 4:00 in the morning on Wednesday. I hit my head on the edge of a rocking chair. I didn't fall asleep that night until around 2 in the morning. My boo-boo didn't stop me from singing, jumping, and just "giving Mommy heart attacks" in general while waiting in the waiting room. The doctor said it did need stitches. Dr. Lamb did a great job on my stiches. Daddy and a nurse had to hold me down. I cried, especially at first, but then I was a very brave girl. The nurse told me that in just a little bit she would show me my stitches and that helped me to calm down. I have three stitches. I am very proud of my boo-boo.
