Hinton Fair 2010

Day drug Jason and I around until 11:30 both Friday and Saturday night.  We played a few games, but this year she was more about the rides.  She loves rides.  Saturday morning when she woke up she said, "Mommy what you dream about?"  So I told her a short happy story.  Then I said "What did you drean about?" and she said "Some children went to the doctor and it was scary".  She also tried on her leatard to day and ask if she was going to dance today.  I told her no and she said, "I can ride my tricycle to dance class."  I won a cat in the hat door prize and she ask if the cat and the hat could go play dominoes with daddy on Friday.  Here are some fair highlights.

The camera was on the wrong setting, but I still liked this pic.

She kept saying "getty up pony!"

She still enjoyed playing the ducks.  This was her favorite last year.

She told me the cars were her favorite.  I noticed she always turned her wheel the right way and wouldn't take her hands off the wheel.

She really wanted to ride this so I put her on (against what daddy wanted to do).  Poor thing, as it got to spinning she started to look pale, her head was swaying from side to side, and her mouth was hanging wide open.  Jason kept saying Oh no see she's going to yak, or honey I think she's going to pass out.  So he had them stop the ride.  The lady ask her if she wanted off and she said no but daddy got her off anyway.  She didn't cry, she just looked out of it.

We also made a new friend, Addie!

They rode several rides together.  This ride broke while they were on it.  I was glad they let them off.

They were both such sweet girls, and shared popcorn.

A family pic after church today.

Hinton Fair Parade 2010

This was Day's first time in the Fair Parade.  She rode her tricycle all the way down Main Street, and even won first place!  She did so well.  The little boy holding up the Prechool sign said "I bet her husbands disapointed, and when I walked through the crowd I could hear the kids saying "oh, look she's a bride!"  Also Day's friend from bible school Sara was there.  Here are some pics of our Runaway Bride.

She didn't want to be called "Bride".  She wanted to be called "princess".

SOme stuff I'm doing right now

Some things she has said recently include "she's (referring to herslf) not taking a nap anymore", "do you understand mommy, I told you", "your embarrassing, I'm gonna bust your hiney".  She is maturing so much everyday.  So proud of my bus riding, poopy saying, fun school girl.  I ask her what happened at school, and she says "It was fun", "I played kitchen with two girls", and "I dressed up as the doctor".  She loves to play with her little people.  She makes little towns and has the bus drop her little people off at school.  Some songs she sings right now include "Little White Church", "Lover, Lover", and "Getty On Up".  She will occasionally moon us and shake her hiney.  Yes, we laugh now, but hopefully it never happens in public. She is recognizes 1,2,3,4,5,6, and sometimes 7 and 8.  She also recognizes A,B,C, and D.  She loves to play school and must have her dolls there as students. They always have names usually Mega, Sissy, Sara, or London, but you never know she has a variety of names.  She loves to help, and is doing great in school.

Last Minute Summer Fun.

Day, Nana, and I took one last swimming tip to the Mustang pool.  Day loves to swim.  Her favorite thing is too jump to me.  Sometimes she tells me to get farther back.  She never wants to leave everytime we go swimming.

In mid air!
Under the mushroom waterfall.

These are some swimming pics we took with the disposable camera at Tanglewood.

Lastly, here are various pics from this Summer.
I can't believe how grown up and independent Day is, actually she has always been that way.  She stopped taking a binky when she was 3 months old and realized she wasn't getting any milk from it.  She always wants to do things herself, and she usually knows whats she doing!!  Love her independent spirit!

Hydro Fair

Dayona loved the Hydro fair.  Her favorite game was a clown game where you had to hit balls into a clowns mouth as it moved up and down.  She did it twice.  She was also very interested in riding things.  This year she rode the cars, the train, and the merry-go-round.  She also got a Hannnah Montana balloon before we left!  I didn't take my camera, but I snapped a few pictures of her "winnings" when we got home.

Lake Texoma

We had a great time at lake Texoma.  Day loved being on vacation.  Jason went fishing and had a blast.  He really enjoyed the fishing guide.  They were both big hunters.  Day, Jason, and I played ping pong.  Day hit the ball hard and said "in your face!"  While driving back to the hotel the "little white church" song came on.  Day started singing "take me down" " no more chicken and gravy".  She learns songs very fast. We also noticed her singing, "lover, lover, lover, you don't treat me no good no more." This is without the song playing on the radio.  She also knows the words to the "hallelujah" song.  When I got up to sing karaoke she wanted to go with me.  She stood by me while I sang "phones are ringing". We went up the morning Daddy went up to fish and ate breakfast (just the two of us) at their swanky eating place.  Day ate her chocolate milk out of a wine glass.  To top it all off they only charged us for one kids meal because she said we didn't eat very much!   Here are some pics.

The view from the tower lounge at Tanglewood.  There was also a small dancefloor and sometimes live music in the lounge.

Playing in the game room.

At the pool.  There were three pools with waterfalls between each pool.

Day Day at the playground.

We went horseback riding at the Rock-N-A Ranch.  Day got ride on the horse with her daddy, and we went for a thirty minute trail ride.

Getting a pedicure!

I was surprised at how much she really enjoyed this!

Our finished toes!

We stopped at Arbuckle Wilderness on our way home.

Day thought it was so funny when the animals would stick their heads in our car especially the ostriches and emus.

Day feeding a giraffe.

Day driving her friends around.

We took this funny little monkey back home with us!
