Summer is here
Today Jason got Day a surprise, and he did it all by himself. It was a princess slip and slide, and she loved it. She kept saying "oh thank you daddy." She loves it!
Earlier we were outside and Day wanted me to let her in to get a jacket (which I thought was odd). I let her in and she came outside wearing her lifejacket, then she got in her pool.
When Jason got up this morning, he got ready to go a Union Meeting. Day walked in and said "Daddy don't go to work". Then she said "stay here and play with me and Kenna" (I think she really thinks of Kenna as her sister), "we are family".
She got really close to an almost broken window today in our living room. I pulled her to the side and said,"don't get near that window it could hurt you, and mommy would be sad if her baby was hurt." To which she replied with a "bit" of a tantrum, "I'm not a baby, I'm a big girl!" "Yes you are a big girl" I said, and I was thinking you are too big already.
Lastly, What is coming out of the box?

This is picture taken after Nana brought Day back from vacation bible school sign-up. She did very well. Someone even commented on how social she was. She would go to other children and say"what you name is"?
This is a pictured she colored for Nana all by herself. She even matched the crayon colors to the pictures by herself. I'm very proud and secretly hope she always, "colors outside the lines!"

A mole that sprung out of the ground as Day was playing on her slide. So we set him free to be with his momma.
