Jason has been working six ten hour days, and the heat has been the theme of our summer. We've had over a month of over 100 degree temps. Today, we visited Geary school. Then Day went to see her Nana Smallwood. She locked herself in the bathroom and painted her own toenails. She did a good job! We also went and looked at a house today with Nana. I think it made Dayona nervous about Nana's current house. She asked who was going to move Nana's house and then later at Nana's house Day went and wrote a "J" on the door for Nana's room and she wrote her name on the Door to Nana and Papa's bedroom, because that's her room.

She was so proud of herself after painting her nails. I really thought she did a pretty good job. Growing up way to fast! Sometimes I wish she was a baby again. We really miss her now that she is in school all day. Seems like the empty nest all over again. She still loves to give us hugs & kisses when she leaves. She is such a sweet girl.
